Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy has become commoditized, meaning people are saying “Oh, yah I had physical therapy,” when in reality, this would never be said about a Chiropractor or a Doctor ( I had chiropractor, I had doctor, etc). The unfortunate reality is that physical therapy has been coined one of the same, despite which physical therapist you see.

The truth is, like any other profession, there are varying degrees of proficiency per each professional. Furthermore, insurances are ever changing, charging higher and higher co-pays and becoming even more strict with what services they are allowing the therapist to even perform. Not to mention that more and more physical therapy clinics are seeing at least 2 people an hour, severely diminishing the time spent with the therapist in a busy hustle and bustle practice. This simply isn’t the recipe for a healthy, successful img_0004rehabilitation. At Pr1me Movement, 1-1 care is the only way to provide care. This way the patient isn’t rushed in and out of the clinic confused as to what exercises he or she needs to be performing and why they are performing the exercises. Instead the patient will receive individual attention and will achieve the results they are desiring. In addition, the patient will be guided every step of the way to ensure no confusion is present and to leave the patient feeling comforted and empowered in their rehabilitation. At Pr1me Movement, care can be provided on a continuum from rehab to personal training to thorough strength and conditioning exercise prescriptions written and customized for you! Virtually no where else can you achieve this continuum of care by a professional that is under the same roof. Due to the increased quality per service, often times only 1 visit is required per week. Perhaps instead of 3 $30 visits ( for example), in a busy physical therapy environment where quality is kept at a minimum, it is worth one visit slightly less and achieving more within the visit.
